Denver is just a bit more connected.
On Friday, July 26th, humans from across the city filled a 528-foot table with their stories, laughter and new connections.
The sun emerging from a summer rainstorm, Civic Center Park transformed into Denver’s Dining Room where strangers became neighbors - in what is the beginning of our journey toward setting a Mile Long Table, Summer 2025!
This is what a city looks like when humans show up in all of who they are - welcoming other humans in all of who they are.
This is a gift and a table for our city.
Gratitude to our guests, Co-Hosts, Sponsors and Partners who set this table with generosity, kindness and compassion!
Many more stories, video and photos to come.

A Table Filled with People from Across our Great City
LET'S MAKE THE MILE HIGH CITY THE MOST CONNECTED AND HOSPITABLE CITY IN THE NATION!
When we are connected, we flourish. And there is no more powerful place to connect than the table! That’s why we are setting a 528-foot table for 528 people from across Denver to share dinner in partnership with the Civic Center Conservancy and presented by Southwest Airlines.
Be part of the hope, meet new friends, share in an extraordinary night of food, music and surprise - as we take one step closer to setting the Mile Long Table in 2025!
65 co-hosts who represent the diversity of our city will invite guests while local restaurants and caterers will provide food.
THE WORLD
WE DESIRE
IS POSSIBLE
Every human being relates to the table. The table is where we reclaim our humanity. And no matter our differences - where we grew up, how much money we have, or the color of our skin - we all belong at the table. And when we eat together - we connect, bond and acknowledge our deepest desires and need to be seen, known and belong. In a world of disconnection, there is no more powerful place than the shared meal.
